I still remembered that when I saw Teacher Yang running into the conference room, I was very impressed by his enthusiasm and energy. However, I felt depressed immediately because I had no chance to observe Teacher Yang's class. It was a pity, wasn't it?

Pam,

I really enjoyed the lively presentation last week. The PPT slides Sam and you prepared did help trigger thinking and talking. I know it not an every practice so that mistakes were unavoidable and acceptable. I couldn't have done better than you two if I were you, especially if I were a Japanese major. Our talk about your performance after class last week helped me understand you more. I could totally relate to you since I wasn't an English major. I worked hard to improve my professional knowledge and pedagogical skills so that I could contact my lessons with confidence and competence. I believe with hard work, you can prove to be an efficient, effective and reflective teacher.

Don't feel discouraged. Guess what I majored in National Chengchi University? EDUCATION. When I got out of the university and started to teach, I felt pressure too since people might challenge your "professional" background. Those graduates from National Taiwan Normal University appeared to be far more "qualified" than me. But I proved to be as professional and qualified as they were. What's more, since I didn't receive a teacher training program in a conventional way, I seem to be able to teach in a more innovative way. Anyway, don't give up. If this training is not necessary to reach your ultimate goal, think of it as ways to improve your English proficiency. You work hard, and then you’ll gain a lot. Trust me!

This just happens. We are not exposed to English all the time after all. It frustrates me sometimes, too. But, you did well when you two were presenting. Keep going.

Wow~it's my first time visiting here, nice to meet you!
Indeed,we can alway remember those teachers who treat us like friend, and respect each other.
My english teacher in senior high once told me that
we might forget everything about grammar or words he taught few years past, but we shall embeded those life mottos forever to face many difficulties. So I can't agree you more in the approach of affective humanistic, I believe it should be a good way to communicate with students in the long learning road.

It's realy important the individual diffrences on leaning. Sometimes, we may just focus on students congnitive part, but ignore their affective parts. So, I afrre with you that empathy is the vital elelments when we are dedicating our teaching on leaners. Sometimes, just give sufficient time to them, not push them so much
